 FAQs

  • Ride Kanuga
1249 Kanuga Lake Rd, Hendersonville, NC, 28739

  • Parking is onsite. We will ask you to park down the hill in one of the lower parking areas to keep space for our vendors. Please respect our parking lot attendants.

  • Please bring your excitement and all your riding gear—helmets are required! A food truck will be on site, but you’re welcome to bring some of your own snacks for during or after rides. Feel free to bring a change of clothes if you’d like to hang out afterwards. Most of all, bring yourself and your stoke!

  • First of all, your participation is what makes Women’s Bike Bash awesome.

At the same time, it wouldn’t be possible without volunteers helping with check-in, parking, leading rides, and so much more. You can volunteer here!

If you don’t have time to give, donations, industry partnerships with businesses, and in-kind donations keep our pedals turning throughout the year.

  • Hendersonville has a variety of lodging and there is also availability to stay at Kanuga.

  • Local bike shops are bringing demo bikes for you on a first-come, first serve basis; please return the bike after your demo ride so others can enjoy it too. If you’re looking for a little pedal assist, Ride Kanuga has e-bikes for rent, please book one through Ride Kanuga.

  • Per Ride Kanuga: “Pets are not allowed within the bike park. They must also be on a leash while around the establishment. Pets are not permitted to accompany spectators during events.”

  • Families are welcome! However, they cannot participate in the Dirt Skrrts rides or clinics offered at the event. Ride Kanuga is open to the public during WBB and any family members will need to purchase their own passes. Anyone with a pass is allowed to use the park as a member of the public.

  • We will have food trucks at the event where you can purchase food. Always bring water bottles and your preferred snacks for a mountain bike ride.

  • You do not need mountain bike experience to attend. If you are new to mountain biking, please sign up for our Foundation Ride to learn some Fundamental skills before you play on the trails!

  • There is no cost to participate in Women’s Bike Bash — the Ride Kanuga fee is waived for all women that day.

However, we ask that you register ahead of time to let us know you’re coming. Pre-registration allows you to complete the required waivers before you arrive, and get on the trails quicker.

If you are planning to join one of the Dirt Skrrts group rides, you do need to sign up. There is not advance registration — you can sign up for your desired group 45 minutes prior to ride start time.

MTB Skills Factory clinics require pre-registration and are offered at a discounted rate. This is a great opportunity to get world class coaching at a lesser cost than a regular MTB Skills Factory clinic.
