Body Mechanics for Mountain Biking Injury Prevention

  • Wrong Way River Lodge and Cabins 9 Midnight Drive Asheville, NC, 28806 United States (map)

An Interactive Lecture + Movement Lab with Flow Physical Therapy and Pilates

Join us for an engaging and interactive session with Tanya Tracy of Flow Physical Therapy and Pilates, exploring how your body mechanics influence your performance and injury risk on the bike. Tanya will break down the key biomechanics that impact mountain biking, followed by simple self-assessments and bike-specific exercises you can take home (or to the trail).

We'll use a bike on a trainer to demo posture and form—what works, what doesn’t—and you’ll get the chance to team up for guided assessments and movement practice. Bring your curiosity, questions, and a yoga mat!

Perfect for riders of all levels who want to understand their bodies better, prevent injury, and improve their ride.

Registration opens Friday, October 3 at 7pm. This event is open to all women.
