 FAQs

  • Ride Kanuga
1249 Kanuga Lake Rd, Hendersonville, NC, 28739

  • There is parking onsite and we will ask you to park down the hill. Please respect our parking lot attendants.

  • Please bring an open attitude and all your riding gear! Bring water bottles and your preferred snacks (even though there will be a food truck). Feel free to bring a change of clothes if you’d like to hang out afterwards.

  • Hendersonville has a variety of lodging and there is also availability to stay at Kanuga.

  • We have first-come, first serve demos from local bike shops. If you’d like to guarantee a bike for yourself, please book one through Ride Kanuga. They only have eBike rentals. Also, feel free to reach out to Dirt Skrrts with more questions.

  • From Ride Kanuga’s website: “Pets are not allowed within the bike park. They must also be on a leash while around the establishment. Pets are not permitted to accompany spectators during events.”

  • Families are welcome! However, they cannot participate in the Dirt Skrrts rides or clinics offered at the event. Ride Kanuga is open to the public during WBB and they will need to purchase their own passes. Anyone with a pass is allowed to use the park as a member of the public.

  • Always bring water bottles and your preferred snacks for a mountain bike ride. However, we will have food trucks at the event where you can purchase food, too.

  • You do not need mountain bike experience. If you have no mountain bike experience, please sign up for our Foundation Ride!

  • There is no cost to participate in Women’s Bike Bash — the Ride Kanuga fee is waived for all women that day.

However, we ask that you register ahead of time to let us know you’re coming and to complete the required waivers.

If you are planning to join one (or two!) of the Dirt Skrrts group rides, you do need to sign up. There is advance registration and you can sign up day of if the ride has open spots.

MTB Skills Factory clinics need to be signed up for in advance and have a fee associated with them. This is a great opportunity to get world class coaching at a lesser cost than a regular MTB Skills Factory clinic.
